Issue: The upgrade of ION_Data/ION_Network does not succeed and displays a message that the ION_Data.mdf/ION_Network.mdf file already exists.

Resolution: The Database Logical Name needs to be different than ION_Data or ION_Network_Data, and the restore location needs to be …\Power Monitoring Expert\Database\Data.

Issue: The database upgrade finishes successfully, but some tables in ION_Data look corrupted with data missing.

Resolution: Make sure that tempdb can expand up to twice the size of the live database.

Issue: The upgrade did not succeed at the Verify Databases point due to custom measurements.

Resolution: Contact customer support; no resolution is available.
